Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the necessary deposit(s). Confirmation of reservation and deposit payment will be provided in writing. The Waltonian Inn Resort is neither responsible nor liable for any damages, injuries or losses incurred while on the premises / property or while using Waltonian Inn Resort equipment / facilities, boats & motors.
Deposits / Cancellations / Refunds
A deposit of 35% per cottage per week (or weekend) or $ 75. per person - whichever is the greater is required.
Deposits may be paid using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, personal cheque (payable to Waltonian Inn Resort). No post-dated cheques accepted. US currency accepted at prevailing rate of exchange.
Balance of account is due on check-in.
All rates are subject to applicable taxes.
If accommodations are unavailable, the deposit will be refunded in full. There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or unused fuel in boat / motor tanks. No credit / discount is given if recreational facilities or reserved equipment is not used.
The Waltonian Inn Resort reserves the right to substitute accommodations or equipment out of necessity and / or due to unforeseen circumstances.
In spring and fall, deposits will be refunded in full - less a $ 20. administration fee - if notice of cancellation is received thirty (30) days prior to the commencement of the reservation period.
For summer season, a $100. administration / cancellation fee will be applied to all reservation cancellations. The balance of the deposit is refunded provided that sixty (60) days notice of cancellation has been received AND the vacancy created by the cancellation has subsequently been re-rented, failing which the balance of the deposit is not refunded.
Late arriving guests or those not honoring their reservation(s) ("no shows") will be liable for 100% of the total value of their reservation(s).
Rental fees for reserved boats & motors will be charged in full unless cancellation is received sixty (60) days in advance.
Damage / Liabilities
All damages to / malfunctioning Waltonian Inn Resort property or equipment must be reported immediately. Guests are responsible for all damages and losses to accommodations, facilities, equipment, boats & motors, however caused. Repairs replacement will be billed at cost.
The Waltonian Inn Resort does not employ a lifeguard, nor supervise the playground, beach or swimming area. Parents / guardians are responsible for the supervision, actions and safety of children and guests.
Boats are not equipped with running lights. It is illegal to operate a boat after sunset without such lights. Use after sunset is done at the operator's risk.
An approved, properly fitted personal flotation device (PFD) / life jacket is required for each person in the boat. Please bring suitable PFDs for your party and guests.
It is a serious offence to disable a smoke detector, fire alarm or fire extinguisher.

- Every overnight and day guest must be registered. Additional charges (plus applicable taxes) may apply. Waltonian Inn Resort facilities, property and equipment are for the exclusive use of registered guests and used solely at their own risk. Guests are responsible for the behaviour, actions and safety of their children and guests.
